i dont care about baseball but I watch hockey, which is packed to the gills with rainbow/DEI propaganda

I know i should stop supporting the NHL, and I keep meaning to boycott it, but i never get around to it

I guess I am apathetic and blackpilled (was that the point of the propaganda?), as I have already resigned to having lost this culture war forever, so fuck it, may as well watch

I gave up on the Flyers when they took Kate Smith’s statue down. Fuckin cowards.

Yeah. You are a part of the problem. Do not support those who would seek to oppress you and educate your children to their "values".

Expand full comment

And how do you do that, practically, when every corporation is pushing it? Try to find a major corporation that doesn’t have a DEI statement on their site, isn’t changing their logo to a rainbow in June, doesn’t sponsor Pride festivals. It’s impossible. To take that to its natural conclusion, you have to go completely off-grid.

The culture war is over. We lost. What we see right now is the equivalent of the Japanese soldiers on Pacific islands who didn’t accept their surrender. Admirable, but ultimately pointless.

Do you grow/raise all of your own food and make your own clothes, or do you get these donated to you? Do you not have a bank account? How do you get around? Unless you've gone full Uncle Ted, or turned into a bum, it's unavoidable that you will have to give money to corporations with varying degrees of woke infestation. And then there's the whole matter of taxes...

It is not lost. At all. How do you do it? It requires some fortitude and discipline as you will have to leave behind much as what is presented as "mainstream" (read state or corporate controlled). But when you take something away, something new takes its place. Have faith in that. For me and my family that meant leaving our blue state though it was an ancestral home and finding a much more conducive environment (specifically for us a remote Alaskan island, but others do not have to go to such lengths.) When we left we knew we would have to create a new parallel structure or find one that was amenable. Luckily, we found one. It means generating most of our own food or trading for it- and doing so with others to reduce the burden and to have more options. It means leaving behind most contemporary culture and creating ones own or going back to the rich tapestry of the past and revisiting or discovering wonders and joys that will last more then a lifetime. It means finding professionals in other ways, such as 'Direct Primary Care' for doctors. It means getting very involved in local politics to maintain ones little happy corner of the world. It takes a lot of work, planning, and guts. But we did it. We aren't special. We just refuse to live on our knees. Life is very full for us and has deep meaning both in our family and in our community. Many people are inclined these days to leave behind the dead hand of the authoritarians. You (we) are far from alone. It is not easy, but what is of great value is? Maybe you could begin by reading biographies of the many who have stood against the leviathan and been victorious? I will leave you with some quotes.

“The real question is whether the ‘brighter future’ is always so distant. What if it has been here for a long time already – and only our own blindness and weakness have prevented us from seeing it around us and within us, and kept us from developing it.”

~Vaclav Havel, The Power of the Powerless

“If it proves impossible legally to compel the ruling power to change the ways it governs us, and if for various reasons those who reject this power cannot or do not wish to overthrow it by force, then the creation of an independent or alternative or parallel society is the only dignified solution…”

~Ivan Jirous, Parallel Polis: An Inquiry

“The parallel society began in spontaneous acts of mutual self-defense in different parts of society. Those who take part are active people who can no longer stand to look passively at the general decay…rigidity, bureaucracy, and suffocation of every living idea or sign of movement in the official sphere. And because these people sooner or later recognized that efforts to bring about the slightest improvements in the official sphere were exercises in futility, it was only a matter of time before they said: Why not invest our talents, abilities, goodwill, and enthusiasm into something that no one will be able to corrupt, that we will be able to decide about ourselves in the end.”

~Ivan Jirous, Parallel Polis: An Inquiry

“The ultimate phase of this process is the situation in which the official structures…simply begin withering away and dying off, to be replaced by new structures that have evolved from ‘below’ and are put together in a fundamentally different way.”

~Vaclav Havel, The Power of the Powerless

Take the white pill. What else are you going to do? Live a life of anger and regret? Good Luck!

No, this is a ridiculous mentality. There hve never been organized boycotts against these companies. The Bud light boycott is the forst of its kind and already cratering the brand and its revenue. Sports would be even easier to boycott, as much as I love them. I can make coffee at home instead of starbucks and do a million other daily things to keep my dollars out of their hands. This would be beneficial not just for fighting corporate monopolism but also their cultural agenda

Thanks Peachy. People need to take stands, and stands might involve sacrifice. Like saying goodbye to a favorite sports team. People of a conservative bent talk a good game, but they don't do sacrifices very well.

I avoid those brands (and more), but truly avoiding woke companies/institutions in America is not actually possible for anyone who isn’t an off the grid subsistence farmer (or Amish, I guess). Where I live, internet providers have a monopoly, and the one in my area is uber-woke; I need a bank (and a mortgage) and can’t find any that aren’t woke. I give to nonprofits like the food bank, but if you look at their websites, they’re pretty woke, too! Hell, the churches are now woke.

And my retirement funds? Thank goodness I have some, but I now have less than I should, because with ESG, they’ve been put into woke companies, without my consent, even though the ROI is inferior (thanks, Biden! Way to destroy the centuries old legal principle of “fiduciary duty”).

I’d love someone to put together a website listing non-woke alternatives for basic services that we can’t really live without...but increasingly there would be whole categories (like banking) where no alternatives are available. We are WAY further down the rabbit hole than people realize.

This absolutely isn’t about gayness (LBGTQIA2S++, yadda, yadda). The MAJORITY of Americans support gay marriage, which obviously means that they welcome gay families at the games. This has to do with the ever-increasing vulgarity and coarsening of our culture, as well as the absolute intolerance of the “protected classes” hiding behind their protected status to denigrate others.

Ask yourself this: if any group (much less a drag group) did a similar thing in reference to Islam, what do you think the reaction among REgressives would be? Pearl clutching, with a heaping side of yelling “bigot”! But piling on re: Christians is always A-OK, apparently. The constant double standards are simply unacceptable.

Well, degenerates like the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence are trying to change all that, and they may well succeed.

its 100% about gayness. These groups operate like the mob. They force everyone to kiss the ring or else wind up with cement shoes. It used to be about acceptance, now its about adherance. Just accepting that gay people are out isnt enough. You have to wear the rainbow pin, you have to hang the rainbow flag, if not you are a bigot. Need an example, in NY they are looking to prosecute the destruction of a rainbow flag as a hate crime. In Florida they are doing the same for a guy who peeled out on a street painted like a rainbow. Meanwhile you can burn the american flag freely. This movement has become a violent cult of madmen that wont stop until everyone agrees with them and affirms there dillusions 100%.

It’s so much worse than just this, as satanic as this is.

Tried to take my kids to a minor league hockey game here in “conservative” Texas, supposed to be “family friendly,” 7pm on a school night, and the crowd is full of adults shamelessly yelling obscenities at the players, with little kids feet away from them!

Used to be - watch Pride of the Yankees, the only baseball Pride event worth watching - crowds used to be well dressed grown ups, and people wouldn’t act like that in front of other ladies and gentlemen, let alone kids. Now the boors have taken over every non-homeschooled corner, it’s sad.

Really looking forward to the book!

Peachy, I’m pleased that you have concluded that it’s game over. The fact is, we can’t play with the woke left anymore. Our differences are irreconcilable, and their envy-fueled hatred for us increases by the day. That said, we need a plan, a way forward, a practical guide even.

These guys ostensibly want respect. They think they get respect by disrespecting everybody else. That’s not how it works. From the WEF-adjacent stereotype finance bro owner to the bearded ladies, fuck ‘em. They are laughing at you. They trash everybody’s traditions in the interests of their own narcissistic Kabuki bullshit. If you give them your money, you’re a masochist, (which could be the next group of weirdos adopted by the Democrats). Just say no. Laugh at them and walk away. Clowns.

the catholic church doesnt and shouldnt have any interest in this type of thing. Leave this childness for the unserious people of the world. Any true practicing catholic knows this is a slap in the face and if they truly care would never give these people a dime ever again. Donate the money to a catholic charity instead. In LA there is zero shot they would go against the lgbt mafia on any issue. we dont need the pope to tell us what to do in regard to this.

Great article. Maybe players will take a stand. Several on the TB Rays did last year by refusing to wear the “Pride Jersey” citing their Christian beliefs. They were clear that they had no hate for anyone but would not condone the sinful ideology. HUGE respect to those guys that stood up for their beliefs. They took some heat for it in the national news. But I’m sure they expected that and we’re not going to be deterred by it.

Let’s see if any Dodger players have that kind of courage. This group being honored is absolutely offensive to any player on that team that holds Christian values.
