That debut article "How Liberals Trick Republicans into Ceding the Moral High Ground" - is a phenomenal piece: witty, droll, and fiery.

The American Mind is where I first read your work. I found myself popping in there once in awhile to see if you had a new article, and I was never disappointed reading your latest piece. Your energy always shone through. How do you do it? 😄 All the best for your future endeavors.

Love what you write Peachy Keenan. So wonderful to hear how you got your start and all the best to where you're going. You are one of my favorite stacks. You speak my truth in ways that no one else does, and I appreciate your levity and sparkle. Peach On Keenan!!!! With gratitude. Marin.

Hey Peachy- I just checked out your upcoming new upstart, oops! start up. "Lost Riviera Studios."

Is this any relation to Meghan Markle Windsor's "American Riviera Orchard?"

In addition to essays and brilliance will you be selling soaps and jam?

She stole that word from me!

Something tells me that Peachy is among some of the Los Angelinos who have moved up to Santa Barbara, “The American Riviera” that this town is now being coined and capitalized by a few. Perhaps she came up with the name as we have a wonderful movie house called The Riviera Theater? If I’m right I hope she isn’t one of the rude and fast driving types that moved up here from LA during Covid. It’s bad enough with M&H here!

You speak of the dox as though you yearn for it. Tempt not the fates (or something Yoda-like). Keep up the good work!

All my best for all you future and current endeavors, even airing your dirty laundry. I will keep up the sub to your readstack.

(Thought: if substack ever goes down maybe someone could start a similar enterprise called readstack)

End of an era! I read TAM obsessively in the early days, and still proudly wear my Hot Gulag Summer t-shirt.

“ In Loco Parentis Gone Loco“ is what got me reading the rest of your stuff. I’m one of many parents who lost a child to trans and your article was inspiration and technique for parents to prevent it from happening to one of their children.

You’re quite amazing, thank you for you.

The title had me worried, but the text of this post indicates you are not dropping The American Mind because of some falling out or ill-behavior on their part. It sounds like they still have your support. Thank you for writing for them.

Thanks for sharing the denouement from the AM - resonates as well today as it did then. Will have to file this in the memory bank for use!

Hope you are not doing laundry for other members of your family. Let them do their own. I’m 87 male who has done his own laundry since teenage years when Mom kept losing my socks.

There is an evil force that eats socks. That's why I started buying them in Costco lots. No problem matching whatever survives until the next to the last one wears out -- or disappears.

87? Buddy, we’ve got to find you a Haitian to scrub those socks. Just hide the pets.

I also started doing laundry young bc my parents also kept losing socks—and mixing blue or red items with white ones, dyeing them blue and pink. I got tired of that.

Come to think of it, it might have been weaponized incompetence on their part. Hm.
