I’m IN, Peechy/All. Is it acceptable to pray the novena in the way you provided if you are not Catholic? Pardon the question, I truly do not know. When I was young, I took communion at a Catholic mass at which I was a guest and I’ve felt bad about doing that since. I’m an old guy now and have many times thought to become baptized in the Catholic Church and become observant. I have not followed through. Thank you for sending this to us, Peachy. I want to do it in the best, most informed, respectful and reverent ways.

DPatrick, pray away! And I encourage you to take the steps to come into the Catholic Church. It’s a great, big crazy family and we’d love to have you ☺️

If you're on Twitter @JoshuaTCharles is a fantastic evangelist for the Catholic faith. A former evangelical, his studies of the writings and teachings of the Church Fathers made him realize that Catholic faith WAS the faith from the very beginning, and not just something manufactured over the centuries by flawed, evil men.

Thank You, Dr. I am not on Twitter. Somehow resisted FB, Twitter, Instagram - all of it. Never even signed up for any of them. Just LinkedIn. But I will look for Mr. Charles elsewhere and appreciate your recommendation.

You're welcome. Charles just started a YouTube channel called Eternal Christendom.

God's blessings to you and your family, DPatrick.

Again, Thank You. I dug into Charles’ website last evening and read blog post #1 (of at least 47 to-date). It’s all very well done for someone interested in the history of the early Church (I always have been) and/or researching Confirmation/Conversion. I’m grateful to Peachy and to this great group of people.

I'm Jewish so I'll probably omit doing the sign of the cross BUT I will, and have been, praying already and am endeavoring to do so every day. This is, without hyperbole, a fight for the Country. Another great piece, Peachy.

Peachy,

This hit just the right note. It left a lump in my throat and resolve in my being.

Cheers(and thanks),

Great idea. we need all the help we can get not just for one person to win an election, but for saving us all from what is coming at us.

If, they do cheat Harris into the presidency, we should all demand, based on her statements on the economy and her campaign theme of JOY, that she declare The Year Of Jubilee where all debts are forgiven.

Yes! Christians UNITE against evil! This Methodist girl is in too! I’m also doing the 11:05am (November 5th, get it?) challenge to set my alarm every day to pray for our country. The more prayers the better! God be with you!

Hi Peachy,

I'm a member of the Knights of Columbus at Saint Stephen Martyr Roman Catholic Church in Chesapeake, VA. I'll pass this along to my Council and my friends, and hopefully we can have a couple hundred more praying the novena.

Thanks for all you do. I'll pray the novena, and pray for you. May God Bless You.

Tom

Thank God I saw this post the first day. Now not a day goes by without me having the presence to pray.

The inner peace and calm returned to my mind. The first thing before I get out of bed and the last thing as I sleep.

During the day if I mistakenly allow myself to be agitated by MSM, I pray.

Thank you for the reminder.

Thank you for this. My four boys (10, 8, 6, 4) and I prayed it every day and they began telling me when it was time to pray. They miss it and have asked if we can continue praying every afternoon now that the election is over.

I grew up in the Catholic Church but it has been a very long time since I have been to Mass and the boys beloved learning about the Saints in the prayer. This was really a unifying experience for our family and I am grateful to you for sharing and calling us to prayer!
